Job Description
Summary: Fifth Third Bank is seeking a Real Estate Investment Banking Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with senior bankers and clients on complex transactions across the real estate sector, conducting financial analysis and preparing client-facing materials.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support real estate transactions
- Prepare client-facing materials including presentation materials, market intelligence, and investment memorandums
- Assist in the execution of monetizations, capital advisory and other real estate and infrastructure transactions
- Develop a strong working knowledge of various legal documents related to real estate transactions
- Perform due diligence and industry research to support transaction processes
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities with oversight from associates and senior bankers
- Communicate project status, timelines, and deliverables effectively
- Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to an evolving business, client requests and team priorities
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, real estate, or capital markets
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses (or ability to maintain/obtain within company policy)
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and client-facing deliverables
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within deal teams
- Familiarity with financial databases and platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated interest in real estate strongly preferred
- Experience with Argus strongly preferred
