Summary: Field Nation is a company that connects businesses with service professionals through an integrated platform. They are seeking a Software Engineer who will collaborate with product and design teams, develop features, and utilize AI tools in their software development process. Responsibilities: - Partner closely with Product Managers and UX Designers to translate user needs and product visions into technical requirements and digital experiences - Develop, test, and deliver features, bug fixes, and improvements across our products with guidance from senior teammates - Work alongside AI coding agents in your daily development—writing good prompts, reviewing generated code carefully, and learning the patterns that work - Produce code that is readable, tested, and maintainable. Take feedback in code review seriously and apply what you learn - Stay accountable for the quality, security, and performance of the code you commit, regardless of how much was generated by an AI agent - Contribute to technical discussions and design reviews. Ask questions, share your perspective, and help your team make better decisions - Help with on-call, debugging, and operational work.
