Senior Manager, Business Analysis Location: Smithfield, RI Job Description: Note: Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this position The Role The Senior Manager, Business Analysis will join the Business Performance Measurement (BPM) team within Corporate Finance. This role supports the analysis and development of data solutions that strengthen a high-quality, reliable data environment and enable the delivery of key enterprise insights. The role partners closely with Finance, business, and Technology stakeholders to ensure data products are clearly defined, thoughtfully built, and positioned to support effective decision-making and enterprise consumption. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and attention to detail Proven experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements for technology teams Demonstrated ability to define, support, and execute end-to-end testing and validation to ensure high-quality business outcomes Confident communicator able to explain, defend, and challenge analytical findings with business and finance partners Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tell a compelling data story to audiences at varying levels Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau Hands-on experience with SQL, including querying and manipulating data in Snowflake and other relational databases Confidence, business maturity, and presence to work independently and collaborate effectively across a highly matrixed organization Outstanding critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills, with comfort operating in ambiguous environments Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to influence decisions and drive proactive dialogue Ability to rapidly develop subject-matter expertise and apply institutional knowledge to deliver high-quality analytics Proven flexibility and resourcefulness in managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Proactive mindset with a track record of initiative, innovation, and challenging conventional approaches The Team The Business Performance Measurement (BPM) team sits within Corporate Finance and focuses on delivering trusted data, analytics, and insights that support enterprise performance management.
