The Role
At Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS), we’re dedicated to helping financial advisors thrive through client‑focused expertise, industry‑leading financial solutions, and flexible technology. This role works across our Account Opening and Account Maintenance teams and plays a critical part in delivering new and evolving products and services that enhance the client experience. As a Product Delivery Director, you serve as a strategic partner to Product Leaders, leveraging deep Product Management and Business Analysis expertise to shape future‑state product visions and long‑term platform strategy. You collaborate closely to explore new capabilities, define problem spaces, and translate strategic intent into clear roadmap priorities. This role drives alignment across squads and stakeholders, ensuring requirements, execution decisions, and delivery outcomes consistently support broader business and product objectives throughout the Product Development Life Cycle.
Mentorship and Oversight Across Teams
In addition, you play a key leadership role within the Product Solutions chapter by mentoring and coaching associates and providing oversight of work across multiple squads. You help establish and uphold standards and best practices, review outcomes for quality and consistency, and guide teams to deliver effectively at scale. Through hands‑on support and governance, you strengthen delivery discipline while enabling associate growth and overall team effectiveness.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelor’s degree required, with 10+ years of experience in product management or product delivery roles focused on technology, client experience, and complex financial services domains
Demonstrated experience leading product delivery and execution across multiple teams, ensuring alignment to product strategy, quality standards, and delivery best practices in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical aptitude, with the ability to assess incomplete or ambiguous information, identify risks and dependencies, and translate insights into actionable initiatives
Proven ability to understand and document end‑to‑end customer experiences, uncover pain points, and partner effectively across multiple business and technology stakeholders
Strategic partner to Product and Technology leaders, translating strategic intent into roadmap initiatives, exploring new capabilities, and evaluating opportunities within complex ecosystems
Experience working across highly interdependent internal and external partner teams, requiring influence, coordination, clear communication, proactive issue identification, and timely escalation
Comfort operating in areas where processes, requirements, or paths forward are not clearly defined, with the ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum
Strong leadership presence, balancing hands‑on contribution with mentorship, coaching, and team enablement to develop product delivery, analytical, and leadership capabilities
Clearing and Custody experience strongly preferred, with understanding of end‑to‑end operational workflows, controls, and associated risk considerations
