The Role
As the Director of Emerging Products Administration, you will lead a diverse organization of 35+ associates and leaders within WIDACT, including Business Analysts, Client Service Managers, Individual Contributors, and Senior Managers. This team supports a portfolio of innovative offerings, including Student Debt, Workplace Giving, PEP, Advisor PEP, and 3(16) products.
In this role, you will build and complete the strategic vision for emerging product administration, driving operational excellence, scalability, and readiness for existing and new products. You will build and sustain a high-performing, inclusive culture while ensuring exceptional client and partner outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and implement the vision and strategy for Emerging Products Administration
Establish scalable, repeatable operating models to support existing and new product launches
Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and accountability for team performance and outcomes
Partner closely with product owners to operationalize new offerings and service enhancements
Influence business partners on product readiness, service enhancements, and the adoption of best-in-class controls and operational models
Drive efficiency, scalability, and continuous improvement across processes
Ensure strong governance, risk management, and fiduciary oversight where applicable
Deliver high-quality service experiences for emerging product clients
Lead, support, and develop a multi-level organization with varied abilities and product expertise
Foster an inclusive, high-performance culture that promotes engagement and accountability
Oversee hiring, talent development, performance management, and workforce planning
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Background in defined contribution (DC) client services, operations, or product development/support
5–10 plus years of leadership experience managing diverse teams
Broad, cross-functional business knowledge
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience in consulting, large-scale program management, and/or business strategy a plus
Strategic problem solver with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to use data to drive decisions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders
Strong organizational navigation and collaboration skills across functions and levels
Proven ability to build trust and drive alignment across partners and teams
Effective leader and mentor, capable of developing talent and elevating team performance
Familiarity with DC recordkeeping, products, and services
Ability to provide compelling thought leadership and represent the function at senior levels
The Team
The Emerging Products Administration team is part of Client and Participant Services (CAPS) and is dedicated to partnering across the organization to bring new offerings to market, enhance current solutions, and deliver exceptional service to clients adopting innovative products. The team provides fiduciary oversight for Fidelity Advantage 401(k) / 3(16) services and supports Student Debt programs, with a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
