Summary: Federal Home Loan Bank of New York is offering a 10-week full-time summer internship opportunity in their Bank Operations group. The intern will support various project efforts to modernize back-office workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and leverage technology tools to reduce operational risk. Responsibilities: - Analyze process flows to identify streamlining and efficiency opportunities - Evaluate business functions and processes including those related to wire transfers, credit operations and collateral - Draft workflow diagrams to identify those where AI or other information technology tools could be leveraged - Create dashboards, draft Python scripts or AI agents - Generate project documentation as required - Assist with daily work as appropriate Required Qualifications: - Understanding of business management or finance - Strong technology skills using and creating Python scripts and AI Agents - Ability to create dashboards - Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point Applications - Excellent analytical skills - Detail oriented and ability to multi-task - Excellent verbal and written communication skills required - Excellent interpersonal skills required - Strong organizational skills - College coursework required in business management / finance with an information technology focus Required Skills: Python, AI Agents, Dashboard creation Important Skills: Business management understanding, Microsoft Office Suite Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical skills, Multi-tasking, Detail oriented, Verbal communication, Written communication, Interpersonal skills, Organizational skills
