Graphic Design Intern at FC Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH

Summary: FC Cincinnati is a Major League Soccer team based in Cincinnati, Ohio, and they are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support the club by creating innovative, brand-aligned visual content. The intern will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design creative assets that drive partner and fan engagement while maintaining strong communication and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Design and repurpose existing artwork for creative initiatives such as but not limited to: sales collateral, advertising campaigns, digital graphics (website, social media and video elements), stadium graphics, digital ads, and presentation decks for internal departments - Creation of/working with templated designs to help departments with turn-key collateral - Work closely with Design Studio to bring cohesion to all creative work - Help organize and maintain structured file folders - Build and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization - Game day duties will likely focus on live event production and live digital messaging Required Qualifications: - Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple simultaneous projects - Fluent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign - Exceptional conceptual and creative skills with attention to detail - Ability to work both independently and as a team member - Strong interpersonal skills when interacting with departments and clients - Pursuing a BS/BA in graphic design, art, animation, motion graphics or related field or demonstrated work experience - Expertise in current graphic design practices, including fluency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop - Knowledge of design techniques and emerging technologies - Ability to work outside of regular business hours including but not limited to weekends and holidays as required by the FCC Academy game schedule, special events, and projects Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge and interest in professional soccer and/or sports a plus - Knowledge of and/or prior work in sports business sector is a plus Required Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, Sports Business Benefits: FCC welcome gifts, Resume and profile reviews, Tour of TQL Stadium and MHTC, Community volunteer opportunities, Discount off team store merchandise, Job shadow opportunities, Paid hourly and/or college credit opportunities
