Summary: Farsight is an agentic AI platform for financial services, aiming to automate complex workflows for investment banks and private equity firms. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will take ownership of a high-impact project, learn from a dedicated mentor, and collaborate across teams while developing systems for reliability and scale. Responsibilities: - Own a high-impact project. You'll take ownership of a specific, meaningful project from design through delivery, working with frontier AI models and complex architectures - Learn from a dedicated mentor. You will be paired with an experienced engineer who will guide your development, pair program with you, and help you navigate our tech stack - Engineer for reliability and scale. You'll build systems that don't just work on your machine, but work under load for thousands of users. You'll learn professional engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD - Collaborate across the company. You'll work closely with designers, GTM, and other teams to gather feedback and refine what you're building - Showcase your work. At the end of your internship, you will present your final project and its impact to the engineering team and company leadership Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related program - Experience with Python and an understanding of cloud-based infrastructure like AWS - Available full-time for 10-12 weeks in our office in New York City between May and August - Strong interest in learning and understanding generative AI technology and the current, rapidly evolving landscape Required Skills: Python, Cloud infrastructure Important Skills: Generative AI Nice-to-Have Skills: Code reviews, Testing Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Stipend
