Campaign Analytics, Data Analyst at FanDuel in New York, NY

Summary: FanDuel is looking for a Data Analyst to support their Generosity Intelligence team. In this role, you will be responsible for performance analytics, reporting, and data analysis across all areas of Sportsbook generosity campaigns while collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. Responsibilities: - Deliver high-quality analysis, reporting, and customer segmentation to help enhance visibility into the performance of our generosity campaigns - Analyze customer behavior and promotional engagement to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders - Conduct exploratory analyses and develop hypotheses that support ongoing optimization of generosity initiatives - Support campaign measurement efforts by maintaining reporting, validating data quality, and contributing to performance evaluations - Leverage AI to accelerate and enhance your work, taking care to ensure high integrity, managing AI risk of error, and maintaining excellent understanding of AI output to avoid blind trust - Demonstrate accurate insights using easy to interpret visualizations and clear explanations of results, recommendations, methods, biases and limitations - Take responsibility to learn the necessary skills and techniques, in order to work with independence, integrity and accuracy - Collaborate with key stakeholders to effectively identify new value add projects and areas for improvement to support their strategic objectives Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 1+ years of previous experience in a similar role - Proficient in SQL & Microsoft Excel with experience of manipulating large datasets - Undergraduate degree in a numerate or technical discipline or equivalent professional experience Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of at least one statistical or programming language a plus, ideally Python - Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau an advantage - Interest in sports an advantage - Interest or experience in the sports betting industry is an advantage Required Skills: SQL, Microsoft Excel, Python, Tableau, Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Statistical Analysis Benefits: An array of health plans to choose from (some as low as $0 per paycheck) that include programs for fertility and family planning, mental health support, and fitness benefits, Generous paid time off (PTO & sick leave), Annual bonus and long-term incentive opportunities (based on performance), 401k with up to a 5% match, Commuter benefits, Pet insurance, Medical, vision, and dental insurance, Life insurance, Disability insurance, A 401(k) matching program, Short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation, Paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays, Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws
