They are seeking an Accounting Intern to join their Finance Team for the summer, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial operations and reporting. Responsibilities: - Assist with month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries and financial reconciliations - Perform bank reconciliations and assist in reviewing financial transactions - Support the implementation of a new ERP system, including data migration and system testing - Assist in remapping the general ledger (GL) chart of accounts to align with updated financial structures - Analyze financial data and contribute to variance analysis reports - Conduct research on accounting standards and best practices to support financial decision-making - Prepare ad hoc financial reports and presentations for senior management - Collaborate with various departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and basic formulas) - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-team collaboration - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Required Skills: Accounting principles, Financial reporting, Microsoft Excel Important Skills: Analytical skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication skills
