Job Description
Summary: FactSet creates flexible, open data and software solutions for over 200,000 investment professionals worldwide. The Software Engineer Intern will work alongside full-time engineers to develop new technologies, contribute to projects, and enhance coding and collaboration skills during a 12-week internship.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new technologies and brainstorm solutions in collaboration with full-time engineers
- Contribute to a project of personal interest during the internship
- Build coding and collaboration skills while gaining ownership over a project
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science
- Current Junior enrolled in an undergraduate CS program
- Experience in programming with C++, C# or another OOP language
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and in groups
- Ability to prioritize and set goals on shifting priorities
- FactSet's Internship programs are not eligible for immigration sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of modern web technologies like JavaScript, Typescript, Vue, HTML5/CSS3, etc
- Must continually strive to acquire new skills in relevant technology and business areas
