Summary: EXL is a global leader in data and AI, helping enterprises transform and redefine what’s possible for clients. The Intern will support the Data Management team in executing data lifecycle activities and collaborate with various teams to design efficient data pipelines. Responsibilities: - Support EXL’s Data Management team in executing end-to-end data lifecycle activities including data acquisition, profiling, cleansing, transformation, and governance - Assist in maintaining and improving data quality frameworks, metadata repositories, and data lineage documentation across client and internal systems - Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to design efficient data pipelines and ensure consistent data standards across platforms - Participate in project discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data management tasks and process improvements Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (Junior or Senior year) or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline - Strong understanding of data management principles including data modeling, integration, and governance - Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills - Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams in a fast-paced, client-driven environment Preferred Qualifications: - Hands-on experience or coursework in SQL, Python, data visualization (Tableau, Power BI), and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is preferred Required Skills: Data Management Principles, Data Modeling, Data Integration, Data Governance, SQL, Python, Data Visualization, Tableau, Power BI, Cloud Platforms, AWS, Azure, GCP, Analytical Thinking
