Job Description
Summary: Exiger is a leading supply chain risk management software-as-a-service company, seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will work on real product initiatives across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to scalable, high-quality solutions used by customers around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, and deployment
- Analyze requirements, workflows, and technical challenges to design effective, maintainable solutions
- Write clean, efficient, scalable, and reusable code following best practices and engineering standards
- Design, build, debug, and enhance new and existing application components
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for code quality and documentation
- Collaborate within an Agile development environment, iterating quickly and incorporating feedback
- Stay current on emerging technologies and apply them thoughtfully to assigned projects
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think logically and creatively
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based environment with strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn, ask questions, and work through ambiguity
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience or coursework involving: Java and SQL
- Experience or coursework involving: JavaScript and modern frameworks
- Experience or coursework involving: Object-oriented design principles
- Experience or coursework involving: Unit testing and software quality practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to machine learning or data-intensive systems is a plus
- Self-taught engineers with demonstrably strong skills are encouraged to apply
