As a Mobile Dental Clinic Manager, you’ll lead a small traveling clinic team, operate a custom-built mobile dental unit, and make a meaningful difference for patients who may not otherwise have easy access to care. About the Position This is a high-travel, field-based position responsible for transporting and managing a mobile dental clinic at long-term care facilities throughout the state. The clinic manager drives a company pick-up truck towing a custom mobile dental unit and oversees daily clinic operations with a small team. The mobile clinic team typically includes the clinic manager, a registered dental assistant, and a patient transporter. Dentists generally meet the team separately at facility locations. Travel expectation: This role requires statewide travel five days per week and frequent overnight stays, typically three to four nights per week. What You’ll Do · Safely drive the company pick-up truck while towing the mobile dental clinic to scheduled facility locations. · Lead daily clinic workflow, including patient flow, treatment note dictation, and coordination with the dentist and team members. · Complete daily safety and equipment checks for the truck, trailer, and mobile clinic. · Manage clinic setup, breakdown, maintenance needs, and basic troubleshooting while on the road. · Communicate professionally with facility partners, dentists, team members, and internal scheduling staff. · Enter notes and information into company software and use proprietary equipment as trained. · Maintain a safe, secure, and patient-centered clinic environment by following company standards and regulatory requirements. · Anticipate patient and facility needs while delivering an excellent customer service experience. What We’re Looking For · A valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record. · Willingness and ability to learn how to drive a truck towing a trailer. · Comfort with frequent travel and three to four overnight stays per week. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Ability to learn computer systems, medical terminology, company software, and proprietary equipment. · Dependability, punctuality, professionalism, and a patient-focused attitude. · Ability to perform active work such as stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, climbing, setup, breakdown, and daily safety checks. · Successful completion of a background check with acceptable results. Preferred Experience · Experience pulling a trailer is preferred. · Medical, dental, patient care, transportation, logistics, or team leadership experience is helpful but not required. · Computer experience is preferred.
