About the RoleThis role supports the delivery of exceptional guest experiences while contributing to our broader goals of growing revenue above market, maximising assets, and driving business transformation. You will be part of a team that embraces empowerment, innovation, and community, creating meaningful connections with guests and supporting the continued success of the hotel. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high‑quality food and beverage service with strong product knowledge.

Supervise daily buffet breakfast service

Ensure food quality, presentation and timely replenishment

Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards

Coordinate between service and kitchen teams

Handle guest requests and complaints

Ensure correct setup and breakdown of breakfast areas

Oversee conference and events setup according to event orders

Review function sheets / BEOs and communicate requirements to team

Ensure AV equipment, seating layouts are ready

Coordinate meet and greets with clients, event planners and internal departments

Supervise service during events (tea and coffee, lunches and breakouts)

Troubleshoot issues in real time during events

Support, train, and supervise junior team members.

Manage rosters, timesheets, and daily service operations. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment. Follow all WH&S, cashiering, and operational procedures. Complete opening/closing duties and assist other outlets when required.

Skills & Experience:

Strong guest service focus and professional presentation

Attention to detail and sound understanding of the guests needs

A background in conference and events preferred

Solid food and beverage knowledge, including drink preparation and barista trainined

Experience supervising or training staff

Clean, tidy and well organised

Ability to manage rosters and maintain operational standards. Reliable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
