Job Description
Summary: EVRAZ North America is seeking an Engineering Intern to join their Pueblo, Colorado team. This internship provides an opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic operational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Create CAD drawings to assist in active projects
- Redline and update existing drawings based on field verification
- Work with operations and maintenance to ensure accuracy of documentation
- Assist in developing and improving standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Generate equipment and pie labels based on P&IDs
- Help organize and maintain engineering documentation
- Support continuous improvement efforts across operations and engineering
- Performs other duties as they might be assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Actively pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or similar)
- Basic CAD experience (AutoCAD or similar)
- Willingness to spend time in the field learning systems firsthand
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
Required Skills: CAD, AutoCAD, P&ID interpretation
