Job Description
Summary: Euromonitor International is a global market intelligence company that partners with businesses to provide them with the data and information needed to better inform their strategic decisions. The Global Market Research Intern will support custom consulting research initiatives and gain exposure to various aspects of the research process while contributing directly to ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Consulting Research
- Assist in building research documents and project templates, brainstorming effective research structures and approaches
- Understanding project objectives, business questions, and client backgrounds
- Leveraging in-house resources and externally published information to
- Conducting store audits (collecting data on existing brands/manufacturers, product pricing/promotion/shelf space, etc.) to complement primary research
- Conducting interviews with trade associations, leading companies, and internal Euromonitor associates to gain insights into specific research objectives
- Analysis
- Working closely with the Consulting team on project planning, briefing, research, calculations, and finalization checks
- Validating market data, including integrity of company and brand information
- Preparation and writing of company/industry reports and/or management summaries
- Identifying key insights and developing executive-level reports
- Assist in developing and finalizing client-facing reports (PPT, Excel, Dashboards)
- Client Communication
- Assisting in the preparation of client emails, briefing documents, and delivery documents
- Shadowing client calls and project updates as needed
- Presenting project findings and takeaways (where an opportunity may allow)
- Internal Strategic Initiatives
- Assist on internal strategic initiatives and projects on an ad hoc basis
- Work independently on internal documents to improve internal processes related to Consulting Practices, Products, and Sales
Required Qualifications:
- Rising juniors or seniors enrolled in a 4-year university or college -OR-
- Graduate students continuing their education in the autumn or recently graduated
- Naturally curious and inquisitive with a strong desire to learn
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Gen AI Platforms
- Extreme attention to detail
- Interest in consumer markets trends and dynamics
- Interest in global business
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Interns will be expected to be in the office three days each week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Other languages (i.e. Portuguese, Spanish) an advantage
