Job Description
Summary: Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company dedicated to analytical testing services that contribute to a safer and healthier environment. The Mold Laboratory Analyst/Client Relations Executive role involves managing client communications, overseeing project statuses, and ensuring timely sample processing and report submissions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound client communications via phone and/or email in a timely, solutions-oriented manner
- Advise walk-in clients about service information and project preparation
- Maintain a constant overview of projects in PLM/TEM/and IAQ departments that need login or client communication
- Focused and Strategic Client Management for Long-Term Retention
- Unpack shipments and document receipt of sample
- Update client and project data records in LIMS and CRM software systems
- Collaborate with laboratory/operations personnel to resolve client inquiries and improve processes
- Convert/apply quotes from Account Executive to LIMS
- Ability to assist with administrative tasks as necessary
- Collect samples from on-site drop box
- Organize and record samples
- Data entry into LIMS
- Maintenance of the department and lab, including stocking supplies and housekeeping
- Review analytical reports quickly and accurately
- Scan and send out reports in a timely manner
- Invoicing
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Login of all samples in a timely manner
- Label of all samples
- QC of samples/projects prior to sending into the laboratory
- Interact with clients and answer incoming phone calls
- Report status information to clients
- Contact clients for clarification of analysis requested
- Analyze samples
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Regular attendance and punctuality
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Biology degree preferred
- Analytical skills
- Customer service experience 1-2 years
- Experience working in a laboratory setting
- High level of experience working within Microsoft Excel
- Additionally, individuals will need to be level tempered and handle communications with clients in a professional and respectful conduct, handle and work well under pressure in fast pace and stressful situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
