Job Description
Summary: Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services. They are seeking a Bioanalytical Associate Scientist to support small-molecule bioanalysis, focusing on planning and executing experiments using LC-MS/MS in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform extraction and analysis of biological matrices including plasma, whole blood, CSF, tissues, and excreta
- Prepare samples using a variety of techniques such as protein precipitation, liquid-liquid extraction, and solid-phase extraction
- Conduct quantitative bioanalysis using LC-MS/MS, including data generation, review, and presentation
- Support and perform ADME-related assays (e.g., plasma protein binding, tissue partitioning)
- Troubleshoot analytical and instrumentation issues and perform routine instrument maintenance
- Document experimental data and results accurately and in compliance with applicable procedures
- Collaborate effectively with client scientists and internal teams to meet study timelines
Required Qualifications:
- Hands‑on experience in small‑molecule bioanalysis using LC‑MS/MS
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to critically evaluate data prior to release
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team‑based laboratory environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proficient with standard software tools (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Master's degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline with 0–1 years of relevant experience, or
- Bachelor's degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline with 1–2 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with method development and assay troubleshooting
- Proficiency with AB Sciex LC‑MS/MS instrumentation
- Experience with bioanalytical software such as Analyst, DiscoveryQuant, and MultiQuant
- Familiarity with laboratory automation platforms (e.g., Hamilton systems) and multiplexing
