General Description

• Leads all aspects of a diverse IT project or multiple IT projects, typically involving multiple disciplines in the IT function
• Applies expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met

The role

• Complete the Epic Investment Request EIR with the collaboration of your key stakeholders
• Collaborate with relevant roles (such as (T)PO), Architects, Designers, Requirements experts to translate the epic into an Epic Roadmap.
• Ensure that Epic delivery is under control (IT controls activities compliancy) and Epic impediments and risks are managed. This activity includes among other aspects, to manage the Epic budget (e.g. IT development) and support the Epic Business Owner in operationalizing the Epic Benefits management
• Undertake the adequate stakeholder management to funnel the right information to delivery Teams (in terms of requirement, refinement steer and validation, …).
• Provide advice and direction to the relevant stakeholders including the Epic Business Owner, Tribe Product Owners and Tribe Scrum Masters
• Act as Risk Manager, responsible to identify, assess, monitor and control the Epic risks; to support the Epic Business Owner in managing changes of scope, cost, timescale, or re-prioritizations are checked against their possible impacts (both gains and losses) on the Business Case and risks
• Coordinate Epics using stable delivery processes and frameworks.
• Make sure the features for the epic are created, prioritized and maintained in close collaboration with architecture, designers and the (tribe) product owner ’s of the delivering tribes and squads
• Participate to the QBR and QP processes, contributes to the preparation of the QBR and follows up on the outcome of the QP’s
• Report on the progress. Co-presenting the Epic Dashboard to relevant Portfolio governance body on a regular basis.
• Champion your Epic throughout its entire lifecycle, from definition to closing and ensure capacity, funding and priority.

• Good understanding of business and technical aspects.
• Digital WebPortal/ Web application experience preferred
• Strong relationship-building with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
• Clear communication and effective negotiation skills.
• Highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects.
• Adaptable to changes in project scope, timelines, and resources.
