Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ELV Project Engineer to manage the planning, execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV and security system projects across Dubai.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in CCTV, access control, structured cabling, networking, video intercom, and other ELV systems. Candidates with SIRA certification or experience with SIRA requirements will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ELV projects from planning and mobilization through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate daily activities with technicians, supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical requirements.
• Supervise installation of CCTV, access control, intercom, structured cabling, and other ELV systems.
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Coordinate security system installations and inspections where SIRA approval is required.
• Prepare and review method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and technical documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation quality and project progress.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with suppliers and technical teams for resolution.
• Manage project schedules, manpower, materials, and site requirements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover activities.
• Prepare as-built drawings, testing reports, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
• Attend client and consultant meetings when required.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, quality standards, and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, ELV, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of relevant ELV Project Engineering experience.
• Strong experience in CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Video Intercom, and ELV systems.
• Good knowledge of IP CCTV, NVR/DVR, networking, switches, and TCP/IP.
• Experience in project execution, site coordination, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ability to read and interpret ELV drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• SIRA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Dubai SIRA requirements and security system approvals is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/Dubai project experience is preferred.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel to project sites across Dubai/UAE.
