Summary: EquipmentShare is on a mission to transform the construction industry through innovative technology and support. They are hiring an Intern for Corporate Development M&A to gain hands-on experience in deal sourcing, execution support, and strategy within a fast-growing environment. Responsibilities: - Research and identify potential acquisition targets in priority markets - Cold call and email company owners, brokers, and bankers to introduce EquipmentShare, establish relationships and explore opportunities - Build and maintain a pipeline of active leads - Support preparation of outreach materials and tracking of all interactions - Assist in financial and market analysis for active transactions - Support due diligence processes across financial, operational, and legal workstreams - Help prepare presentations and investment memos for executive review - Track progress of active deals and maintain internal databases - Research industry trends, competitors, and new markets - Support cross-functional integration planning for acquisitions - Contribute to ad hoc strategic initiatives for the Corp Dev team Required Qualifications: - Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field - GPA of 3.5 or higher required - Strong communication skills and willingness to cold call and engage directly with company owners and executives - Analytical ability to interpret financial statements and market data - Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment - Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to financial modeling a plus Required Skills: Financial Analysis, Market Research, Lead Generation Important Skills: Excel Proficiency, PowerPoint Proficiency Nice-to-Have Skills: Analytical Ability Benefits: Competitive compensation., Flexible work arrangement., Company paid holidays., Fitness Center on site plus seasonal and year round wellness challenges., Company sponsored events (annual family gatherings, food truck nights and more)., Volunteering and local charity initiatives that help you nurture and grow the local community., Opportunities for career and professional development.
