Role & responsibilities
• Float RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from vendors.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements.
• Issue Purchase Orders and follow up for timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with project teams for material requirements and site consumables.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
• Track material dispatches, logistics and pending deliveries.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor database and purchase MIS.
• Support cost optimization through effective vendor negotiations

Preferred candidate profile
• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
• 26 years of experience in procurement/purchase for Electrical EPC, Industrial Projects or MEP.
• Knowledge of electrical materials such as cables, cable trays, switchgear, panels, transformers, instrumentation, earthing materials, etc.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
