MSC Infrastructure Engineer (Req #1040) at ePlus inc. in Remote

Summary: ePlus inc. is a company that believes technology is a people business, and they are seeking a Managed Services Center Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will provide network, security, and systems support to maximize stability and functionality within the production environment, while also managing various projects and tasks. Responsibilities: - Manage projects and tasks, as assigned, including: - Tool replacement and upgrades - Maintain accurate data set in tools - Deploying new networks - Integrating tools and authentication methods - Hardware upgrades and replacements - Creating and updating documentation - Perform network/systems support in a Managed Services Center environment - Troubleshoot, isolate, and diagnose common problems network/systems problems, either alone or as part of a team - Resolve and manage problems effectively and immediately - Work in a team environment 7x24x365 with the ability to function independently and discretely during rotating shift work - Provide systems support functions for client end systems, which includes design, development, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem resolution. Follow- through until problems are resolved - Focus on building your own high-level technical skills including building a strength in coding and automation techniques - Ability to work overnight shifts on a weekly rotating schedule - Ability to work remotely and still provide a professional communication experience Required Qualifications: - High school diploma required - 1-2 years of networking experience - CCNA upon hire or within 6 months of employment - Experience/training on one or more of the following: Cisco LAN and WAN Devices, Fortinet Infrastructure systems, RHEL Linux - Practical knowledge of Enterprise Networking concepts - Excellent oral and written communications skills - Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills - Experience/training on one or more of the following: Cisco IOS-XE, IOS-NX, Fortinet infrastructure devices, Windows Server and RHEL Linux Preferred Qualifications: - College degree preferred - CCNA Certification or NSE3 or working towards preferred Required Skills: Networking, CCNA certification, Cisco LAN devices, Cisco WAN devices, Fortinet infrastructure systems, RHEL Linux, Enterprise Networking concepts, Troubleshooting, Performance tuning, Cisco IOS-XE, Cisco IOS-NX, Windows Server Benefits: 401(k) eligibility, Employee stock purchase program, Various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave
