The Associate Cloud Operations Engineer will support customers running workloads in the public cloud, focusing on the maintenance and performance of Azure production environments and ensuring system security and scalability. Responsibilities: - Support and maintenance of Azure production environments - Ensuring availability, performance, security, governance and scalability of Azure production systems via various monitoring, logging, and other toolsets - System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms - Support of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on Azure platform - Maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes Required Qualifications: - Experience supporting customers deploying workloads in the public cloud - Ability to troubleshoot complex, interdisciplinary public cloud technical issues - Ability to work in a diverse and geographically dispersed team environment with multiple engineering resources of varying skillsets and responsibilities - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with a wide range of Customers across different verticals - Familiar with cloud networking constructs such as Expressroute and VNETs - Experience working in CI/CD pipelines to include tools such as Azure DevOps - Knowledge of operating system administration to include Linux and Windows - Microsoft technologies to include Active Directory, SQL, Patch Management, Certificate Services, Cloud Identity to include Active Directory and Azure Active Directory - Cloud Security services to include Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Azure Firewall, Azure WAF - Kubernetes systems administration - Experience with application load testing and quality assurance activities - 1+ years of experience in deploying and supporting complex datacenter and/or public cloud environments Preferred Qualifications: - Entry level public cloud related certification preferred Required Skills: Azure production environments, Cloud networking constructs, CI/CD pipelines, Operating system administration Important Skills: Cloud Security services, Kubernetes administration, Application load testing Nice-to-Have Skills: Problem resolution, Diverse team environment, Public cloud certification Benefits: 401(k) eligibility, Employee stock purchase program, Various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave
