Job Description
Summary: EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is one of the fastest-growing firms in the insurance industry, headquartered in San Francisco with over 3,000 employees nationwide. The Revenue Specialist role involves monitoring incoming commission statements, maintaining organized records, assisting in invoice preparation, and supporting audits and internal reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor incoming commission statements, ensure documents are complete, and route information to appropriate internal systems
- Maintain organized records of revenue‑related activity and ensure documentation remains current and easy to reference
- Assist in preparing service‑related invoices and distributing them to the appropriate teams for follow‑up
- Track ongoing administrative expenses, confirm alignment with established agreements, and escalate inconsistencies as needed
- Coordinate with account teams, carriers, and operations partners to clarify missing information or resolve discrepancies
- Support scheduled audits and internal reviews by gathering data, preparing summaries, and ensuring files are audit‑ready
- Update tracking logs, spreadsheets, and tools used to monitor commissions, expenses, and other operational data points
- Compile recurring operational reports and assist leadership with ad‑hoc data requests
- Identify process gaps or recurring issues and recommend improvements that support efficiency and accuracy
- Contribute to routine administrative tasks that help keep operations organized and running smoothly
Required Qualifications:

- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, tracking systems, and reconciliation tasks
- Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and coordinate with multiple internal stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in employee benefits, insurance administration, operations support, revenue operations, or a related field
