Hiring | MEP Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design and coordinate MEP systems for building and construction projects.

Prepare detailed HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other MEP drawings and layouts.

Prepare design calculations, equipment schedules, BOQs, technical specifications, and related documentation.

Coordinate MEP services with Architectural, Civil, Structural, and Site Execution teams to ensure design integration.

Review and validate shop drawings, vendor drawings, technical submittals, and MEP design documents.

Identify, coordinate, and resolve MEP clashes and design-related site issues.

Ensure MEP designs comply with applicable IS Codes, NBC provisions, fire safety requirements, and project specifications.

Provide technical support and design clarification to the site execution team during project implementation.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of MEP design deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with relevant MEP design experience.

3–8 years of relevant experience in building construction, civil construction, or MEP design.

Strong knowledge of building MEP systems, construction practices, and coordination requirements.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

Knowledge of Revit MEP / BIM will be an added advantage.

Understanding of IS Codes, NBC, fire safety standards, and MEP design practices.

Strong coordination, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to coordinate effectively with Design, Architecture, Structural, Projects, and Site Execution teams.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in PEB, prefab, industrial, commercial, warehouse, factory, or large-scale building projects will be preferred.
