Job Description
Summary: Envista Holdings Corporation is a company focused on providing quality products in the manufacturing sector. They are seeking a Quality Control Inspector responsible for performing visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections of various parts and materials to ensure compliance with established procedures and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Utilizes a variety of test instruments to complete visual, dimensional, mechanical and functional inspections of a variety of parts, assemblies or materials
- Follows established procedures to ensure compliance with procedures, visual aids, purchased specifications, inspection forms, work orders or engineering drawings
- Provide succinct and accurate problem identification; primarily on product, but may include process, IT request, etc
- Document and control nonconforming product, assisting with investigation and rework throughput
- Maintains timely training records in accordance with site training database
- Builds constructive and effective relationships throughout the organization and acts as a team player
- Documents results of all inspections in accordance with current procedures
- Use computers to perform job duties and record information according to established procedures
- Performs additional tasks as requested by supervisor or manager
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Able to read and comprehend blueprints, policies and procedures in order to inspect products
- Basic computer skills, including basic use of Microsoft Office suite software and SAP, or equivalent software
- Prior work experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820, 821)
- Experienced understanding and working with a device history record
- Experienced Identification, Handling, Documenting, Controlling of Nonconforming product
- Investigation and Audit experience e.g., root cause analysis preferred

- Must be able to communicate well, both written and verbal, in English as individual will be reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures and drawings
- While performing duties of this job, inspector may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 46 pounds
- Inspector will work both individually and in teams in various areas e.g., machine shop, clean room and/or office environment
