Summary: Envisionit, an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Chicago, is looking for the next up-and-coming designer to join their creative team as a Visual Design Intern. The role involves assisting in developing creative concepts and digital experiences, collaborating with teams across the agency, and gaining real-world exposure to digital marketing. Responsibilities: - Participate in creative brainstorm meetings and contribute to the development of creative work - Assist designers in developing creative concepts, websites, landing pages, media campaigns, and sales materials - Concept and design brand collateral, including templates, infographics, and presentations - Collaborate with internal teams to create social media assets and blog visuals - Organize and resource image, video, font, and music libraries - Work with a mentor to ideate and write solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives - Research and share industry knowledge and expertise as an internal SME - Sit in on client presentations and get an inside look at presenting work and communicating ideas to clients Required Qualifications: - Background in designing for a variety of mediums and channels - Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign - Experience and comfort working within Google Docs - Eagle eye for detail and a strong knowledge of design principles - Highly organized with the ability to work independently and pick up new concepts quickly - Ready, eager, and able to roll up your sleeves - Not afraid to ask A LOT of questions - Design samples/creative portfolio required for consideration.
