Job Description
Summary: Enterprise Community Partners is a national nonprofit dedicated to making a good home possible for families in need. The CDO Fund is seeking an intern to support operations and engage with issues affecting Detroit residents, providing an opportunity to contribute to community development efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Create a standard operating procedures manual for the CDO Fund
- Sort large data sets and create organized databases
- Develop interactive dashboards to visually represent data
- Collaborate with team members across the department to advance cross‑functional projects and ensure consistent execution of deliverables
- Participate in meetings, capture notes, and support follow‑up actions as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in community development, economics, public administration, business, sociology, or a related field
- Experience creating Standard-Operating-Procedures or similar types of manuals
- Experience visually representing data and creating dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau or Salesforce
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, data validation), Word and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to produce high-quality written products
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely express thoughts and ideas verbally
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities and responsibilities to meet deadlines
- Capable of taking direction and working within a team to collaboratively meet the project objectives
- Experience in a nonprofit setting

- Experience working with a diverse range of communities and people
