Job Description
Summary: Enterprise Community Partners is a national nonprofit dedicated to making a good home possible for families without one. They are seeking a graduate-level intern to join their Acquisitions team, where the individual will assist in financial analysis and project evaluations related to affordable housing investments.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial projections and evaluating potential investments
- Assist in the preparation of preliminary investment summaries and Credit Committee packages
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with developers of affordable multifamily housing
- Prepare deal information including projections, deal summary, market information, sponsor resume and financial strength, and relevant deal terms for investor review
- Ensure internal record keeping and systems are kept current and maintained
Required Qualifications:
- We are seeking a graduate student or recent master's graduate with experience and/or strong interest in affordable housing and inclusive community development
- Coursework and/or experience in finance, real estate and/or financial modeling
- Strong project management skills, including ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivation: ability to work both independently and as a team player
