Job Description
Summary: Entegris is a company that utilizes advanced science to enable transformative technologies, and they are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Quality Lab Technician to join their Aurora team. This role involves performing analytical inspections and tests on various materials and products while ensuring adherence to quality standards and data integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical, physical, and visual tests on product for production, development, R&D, materials engineering, and on customer return samples
- Enter data into SampleManager system; recognize and address deviations or non-conformances in products, instruments, and quality standards
- Verify and/or calibrate all test equipment per manufacturing recommendations and test methods to ensure data integrity and adherence to ISO9001 standard
- Analyze data or trends and prepare reports for communication to internal stakeholders
- Create Certificates of Analysis for product shipping to customer
- Participate in the maintenance of current lab work instructions and assist in development of new methods and instructions for the quality lab team
- Troubleshoot lab equipment of varying complexity
- Communicate effectively with other team members to promote to a safe, positive, and productive working environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (i.e. Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and/or quality laboratory experience of a minimum 1 year
Preferred Qualifications:
- Statistical software (JMP, Minitab) and/or SampleManager
- Self-motivated and learning disposition, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to change
- Technical knowledge of laboratory analytical equipment and general testing methods
- Understanding of basic statistical methods (SPC/SQC)
- Ability to follow organizational concepts and complex processes to complete work
- Strong written and oral communication skills; proven ability to work in a team
