Summary: Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their Advanced Purity Solutions Division. The Manufacturing Engineer position is responsible for developing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes while ensuring safety, quality, and agility through process improvements. Responsibilities: - Evaluate existing processes and implement new processes techniques to improve product flow, part quality and first pass yields to reduce product cost and lead time - Creates/Revises part instructions and routings and trains production personnel on use, set-up, maintenance, and trouble-shooting process - Works with production personnel to attain 100% on-time shipping performance by eliminating quality issues, design issues, improving capacity on bottle-neck processes and providing continuous support - Initiates and leads lean-sigma projects on key business processes to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, total product lead time reduction, cost effectiveness and product/system quality - Promotes and implements use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value-added activities - Develops ROI data for equipment replacement or addition and coordinates design, purchase or construction, and implementation with emphasis on design of fixtures - Develops assembly techniques, procedures and manufacturing cost reduction plans - Participates in 6S and Kaizen activities in all assigned manufacturing areas. Adheres to company established safety practices and promptly reports potential hazards - Authors and/or reviews Standard Operating Process, work instructions, test specifications, and other documents for accuracy - Participates as a team member on New Product Development Teams and analyzes the result of validation and qualification protocols for products, processes, and equipment and work through Release to Manufacturing process to release only capable process to production - Develops and maintains audit functions (product, process, and operating system) ensuring quality systems and products are consistent with internal documentation, standards, and customer requirements - Evaluate facility design and works with Manufacturing and Efficiency Managers to review and adjust layout to optimize maximum output - Ensures feedback and corrective action communication and implementation is consistent with customer expectations - Any other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or highly related field technical diploma a plus - Good visual ability to detect quality defects - Lean Manufacturing Certification or experience - Experience creating routings, work instructions, ECR/ECO process - Strong SAP or other equivalent ERP (Oracle, PeopleSoft) system experience - Experience with control systems documentation - Excellent written & verbal skills - Intermediate Excel skills; modeling, pivot tables, v-lookup, macros Required Skills: Lean Manufacturing Certification, SAP, Mechanical Engineering Important Skills: Excel, Control Systems Documentation Nice-to-Have Skills: verbal skills, written skills Benefits: Annual bonus eligibility., Progressive paid time off policy that empowers you to take the time you need to recharge., Generous 401(K) plan with an impressive employer match with no delayed vesting., Excellent health, dental and vision insurance packages to fit your needs., Education assistance to support your learning journey.
