Electrical Technician I at Entegris in San Luis Obispo, CA

Summary: Entegris is currently seeking an Electrical Technician to join their Advanced Purity Solutions Division at their San Luis Obispo, CA facility. The role involves performing electrical panel layout and wiring tasks related to building Ultra High Purity Systems while ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with work instructions. Responsibilities: - Learn and understand standard and non-standard options per the Customer Data Sheets (CDS) requirements - Wire panels and follow schematics, wire diagrams, and verbal instructions - Layout components on electrical panels per instructions and drawings - Assemble point to point wiring – Cable and harness installation - Learn engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner - Assist with 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) - Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase on-time shipments - Work safely and recognize the safety of others - Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance - Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards - Work with a team as well as independently when needed Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - 0-2 years of experience in electrical assembly and/or have basic experience in electrical assembly - Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs daily - Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time - Ability to pay attention to detail - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment - Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly - Ability to use a computer and learn basic data entry - Dependable and flexible.
