Efficiency Technician at Entegris in San Luis Obispo, CA

Summary: Entegris is seeking a Manufacturing Efficiency Technician to join their Advanced Purity Solutions division. The role involves maintaining the effectiveness of a Value Stream by following Standard Work to maximize productivity and quality, while ensuring a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities: - Perform daily pre-production walk through the assigned Value Stream that includes verifying that assembly kits are available and complete for each process, verifying inventory of floor stock is not gating production, assisting in the routing, closure, and completion of work orders - Create “Build Books” of the systems prior to their assembly (as applicable) - Printing all drawings related to Project, verify redlines on drawings, report/document issues and work with Value Stream Manufacturing Engineer - Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety - Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance - Maintain a safe and clean work environment - Work as a team Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - MRP OS experience - Computer proficiency, data input, MS Operating Platform - Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly - Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily - Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time - Astute attention to detail - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment - Dependability with flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business needs - Self-starter able to work as part of a team and independently Preferred Qualifications: - AS degree desirable or extended learning course - Previous warehousing experience preferred Required Skills: MRP OS experience, Computer proficiency Nice-to-Have Skills: Dependability Benefits: Annual bonus eligibility., 3 weeks of vacation to take the time you need to recharge., Generous 401(K) plan with an impressive employer match with no delayed vesting., Excellent health, dental and vision insurance packages to fit your needs., Education assistance to support your learning journey.
