The Technical Intern will provide support to technical employees, perform basic engineering tasks, and assist with documentation and data management. Responsibilities: - Learns organizational processes and procedures - Contributes to assigned projects - May assist with the development and maintenance of documentation or records - Assists with record and filing systems, drafting techniques, standards and data resource duties - Organizes and stores maps, detailed design drawings, graphs, structural drawings and related engineering records - Collects and codes data from sources for input procedures - Reviews existing records for necessary revisions and prepares data Required Qualifications: - Performs work under direct supervision - Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff - Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter - Typically requires the incumbent to be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a technical area of study at a college or university - Ability to work as part of a team - Oral and written communication skills - Attentiveness - Ability to understand and follow directions Required Skills: Technical knowledge
