• Monitor export-related operations, including cross-border shipments of controlled hardware, technical assistance, and software or data transfers
• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable national and international export control legislation (e.g., EU Regulation 2021/821, U.S. ITAR/EAR where relevant)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for and coordinate communication with competent authorities such as the Ministry of Economy and Industry (Export Control Directorate), Ministry of Defense, and Customs Agency
• Conduct regular internal compliance checks, risk assessments, identify gaps or violations, and recommend proactive mitigation measures
• Deliver regular training and guidance to internal teams (e.g., Legal, Engineering, Procurement, Sales) on export control rules and responsibilities
• Monitor changes in applicable laws, sanctions regimes, and international agreements (e.g., Wassenaar Arrangement, MTCR), updating internal compliance procedures accordingly
• Ensure robust protection of export-controlled technical data, including proper marking, secure storage, restricted access, and encryption where needed
