Gaming Manager - Austral Hotel at Endeavour Group in Mackay, QLD, au

Job Description

Gaming Manager | Austral Hotel

Are you a gaming specialist who knows how to pair gold-standard service with an unbeatable room atmosphere? The Austral Hotel is open to both Full-Time and Part-Time applicants for our next dedicated Gaming Manager to take full operational ownership of our high-performing gaming room and lead a service-focused team.

"The Austral" is a buzzing regional flagship. We aren't looking for an administrator to sit in the back officewhether you join us full-time or part-time, we need a floor-focused leader who lives for player engagement, obsesses over room presentation, and knows exactly how to drive exceptional hospitality while building deep local rapport with our loyal regulars.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements

If you’re all about great service, happy players, and running a top-notch gaming room – we’d love to chat.

The benefits are good too!
