Job Description
Summary: Encore Fire Protection is the east coast's largest full-service fire protection company, serving over 90,000 customers. They are seeking a motivated Accounting/Finance Summer Intern to support the corporate finance & accounting team with day-to-day accounting operations, reporting, and analysis projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with account reconciliations, data entry, and financial reporting
- Support month-end close and general accounting activities
- Analyze financial data and help prepare reports for leadership
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis
- Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Collaborate with accounting and business teams on process improvement initiatives
- Perform administrative and project-based tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship, campus leadership, or project experience
- Exposure to ERP systems or financial reporting tools is a plus
