Job Summary:

The Maintenance Assistant supports the maintenance and upkeep of Ascension Academy’s facilities and grounds.

This role involves assisting with various tasks to ensure a safe, functional, and attractive environment for students and staff. ○ Responsibilities: ■ Assist with general maintenance tasks, such as repairs, painting, and landscaping. ■ Perform minor repairs to buildings, equipment, and furniture. ■ Maintain and care for the grounds, including mowing, watering, and weeding. ■ Assist with setting up and taking down for events and activities. ■ Ensure that safety equipment is in good working order. ■ Assist with maintaining building systems, such as HVAC and plumbing. ■ Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

○ Skills and Qualifications: ■ Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques. ■ Ability to use hand and power tools. ■ Ability to follow instructions and work independently. ■ Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor. ■ Reliability and punctuality. ■ A positive attitude and willingness to work.
