Outside Sales Representative at Empire Today in La Plata, MD

Summary: Empire Today is looking for driven and energetic sales professionals to join their team as Outside Sales Consultants. The role involves meeting customers in their homes to assist them in selecting flooring products, with a focus on generating sales through leads and referrals.

Responsibilities:
- Meet face-to-face with customers in their homes to help find the best flooring products for their needs
- Use the strength of the well-known brand to generate money through referrals and prospecting additional customers
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions both in person and virtually
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Present professionally, including in Empire branded apparel

Required Qualifications:
- Valid license to drive locally to meet Empire's customers in their homes and a vehicle with room for flooring sample boards
- Minimum of 2 self-generated installed sales per month, which pay at higher commissions
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions both in person and virtually
- Availability for evening & weekend appointments
- Direct Seller Contract
- Delivery of excellent customer service
- Ability to use electronic tablets and measuring devices in connection with sales presentations
- Present professionally, including in Empire branded apparel
