Specialist - Private Banking Services (UAE Nationals)

Job Overview:
As a Specialist, Private Banking Services at Emirates NBD, your role is to support Relationship Managers within the Private Banking Front Office in delivering day-to-day services to high-net-worth clients. You will handle client requests related to basic banking products and services, manage account documentation requirements, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure client instructions and service-related transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support 1-2 Relationship Managers in the day-to-day management of Private Banking client relationships.
- Manage client accounts and execute basic banking transaction requests including transfers, cheque clearing, cash transactions, fixed deposits, account opening, maintenance and closure.
- Coordinate with Operations, Credit, Compliance, Legal and other relevant departments to support the execution of client instructions.
- Apply appropriate checks and controls in line with bank policies and procedures under the Lead’s supervision.
- Communicate directly with clients on operational matters, service requests and call-back confirmations while ensuring client confidentiality.
- Prepare and review basic client documentation, including account opening forms, compliance documentation and related records, ensuring completeness and accuracy before submission.
- Raise service requests with internal departments, follow up on progress, and ensure client queries are addressed within agreed timelines.
- Place trade orders for buy and sell investment instruments and coordinate with investment advisors on investment transaction clarifications.
- Assist Relationship Managers with annual reviews by collecting documents, tracking submissions with relevant departments and following up to completion.
Skills and Experience
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of related work experience, preferably within banking, customer care or a service-focused environment.
- Advanced knowledge of basic banking products and services, along with associated operational processes.
- Good understanding of compliance, due diligence, anti-money laundering requirements and standard banking procedures.
- Experience or awareness of business etiquette and customer expectations across MENA markets is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prepare accurate documentation and follow internal policies and controls.
- Customer service mindset with professional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
