Job Description
Summary: Elite Dental Partners is a healthcare organization seeking a Human Resources Intern for the summer. The intern will support day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement, while gaining hands-on experience in core HR functions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the HR team with recruitment activities including job postings, sourcing, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including document collection, system setup, and coordination with office managers
- Maintain and organize employee files and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Assist with updates to HR systems (HRIS), tracking employee data changes, and data audits
- Act as a liaison between the HR team and field team members (office managers and regional managers) when collecting information or documentation
- Support employee engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, surveys, and internal communications
- Assist in the creation and updating of HR resources, SOPs, and toolkits for employees and managers
- Provide administrative support for HR programs related to benefits, performance management, and training
- Assist with compliance-related tasks including acknowledgements, training tracking, and policy distribution
- Support special HR projects as assigned by the Sr. Director of Human Resources
- Stay informed on HR best practices, employment trends, and entry-level HR compliance topics within healthcare and multi-location organizations
- Assist with basic HR reporting, metrics tracking, and data compilation
- Support internal audits and process improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or currently working toward completion) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior internship or administrative experience preferred but not required
