Summary: ElevateBio is a technology-driven cell and gene therapy company, accelerating access to cutting-edge technologies. The role involves assisting in cybersecurity projects, including vulnerability management and SaaS security posture, while working closely with an experienced information security team. Responsibilities: - Assist in prioritizing and managing remediation of vulnerabilities, potentially including improving and expanding the integrations between monitoring, reporting, and ticketing systems - Assist in prioritizing and managing improvement of SaaS configurations to bring them in line with recommended practices - Use a new tool to assess firewall rules and recommend and manage remediations based on findings Required Qualifications: - Must be a college student with a major, minor, or interest in cybersecurity/ information security, computer science, computer engineering, or related field - Well-organized with demonstrated experience breaking down projects into smaller tasks and executing them - A self-starter who seeks out problems and offers solutions - A problem solver who is not afraid to be wrong sometimes - Good communications skills with an interest in improving them Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with the process of prioritizing vulnerabilities and/or basic knowledge of computer networking Required Skills: Cybersecurity knowledge, Vulnerability management Important Skills: Computer networking Nice-to-Have Skills: Project management, Problem solving, Communication skills
