UX/UI Design Intern at Elevate in Addison, TX

Summary: Elevate is a company seeking a UX/UI Design Intern to assist with web design projects. The role involves supporting user experience and content strategy while gaining hands-on experience across all Elevate brands. Responsibilities: - Utilize Figma to design website mockups, applying the platform’s component library/design system to ensure visual consistency, development efficiency, and adherence to usability standards (ADA) - Understanding of user experience (UX) best practices and proven ability to make strategic creative decisions in support of optimal user-centric solutions - Review customer feedback and recorded screen interactions to determine opportunities and issues with current webpage designs and content structures. Translate those opportunities into actionable solves for go-forward design recommendations - Participate in brainstorming sessions to help generate new ideas and concepts and assist in finding creative solutions to existing problems - Assist Sr. UX/UI Designer with special projects and requests Required Qualifications: - Undergraduate Fine Arts or Science degree in digital arts/technology with focus on web design, responsive design, or digital media design - Extensive knowledge of Figma - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Superior project management and organizational abilities - Strong attention to detail - Passion for marketing concepts and improving the customer experience - High proficiency with MS Office required; experience with Google Analytics a plus - Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, working across multiple projects simultaneously Required Skills: Figma, User Experience (UX) Design, ADA Usability Standards, Web Design, Content Strategy, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office, Project Management
