We are looking for a Primary School Humanities Teacher for an international school in Chengdu. This position is available from March 2027

Job Responsibilities
Teach humanities to primary school students, developing their understanding of history, geography, cultures and communities
Prepare engaging lessons and learning materials that encourage curiosity, discussion and critical thinking
Design and mark assessments, provide learning support and write student reports
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the curriculum
Monitor students’ progress and set targets to support individual learning needs
Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and parents
Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
Bachelor’s degree in humanities, education or a related subject
At least two years of experience as a lead classroom teacher
Strong communication skills
Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
