We are looking for a Biology Teacher for an international school in Tianjin. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year starting in August 2026.

The school features a variety of international programs, including Cambridge A-Level, Canadian OSSD, and U.S. AP courses. It serves both domestic and international students and is supported by a team of over 740 educators, including more than 50 experienced expatriate teachers.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of biology to high school students utilizing AP and A Level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience

• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments

• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum

• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve

• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject

• Teaching certificate

• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject

• Excellent communications skills

• Monthly salary is 27,000 to 40,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications

• Monthly housing allowance is 4,000 to 5,000 RMB or free accommodating
