Job Description
Summary: EisnerAmper is one of the largest accounting, tax, and business advisory firms, seeking entry-level professionals for the Private Client Services Assurance team. As a PCS Assurance Staff I, you will plan and perform reviews, compilations, and accounting services while collaborating with the team to meet clients’ assurance needs.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the Private Client Services Assurance team to plan and perform reviews, compilations, and accounting services
- Understanding your client’s business
- Proposing journal entries
- Preparing the work papers to ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with professional and firm standards
- Performing procedures necessary to ensure statements are in accordance with US GAAP or income tax basis
- Working in a collaborate, team environment to service our clients’ assurance needs
Required Qualifications:
- Must have completed a degrees/majors: Bachelors and/or Master's degree in accounting, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
- 0-2 years recent public accounting experience
- This position is hybrid and does have in-office requirements
- Must be able to reliably commute to assigned office location and client sites as required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pursuing minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location
- Pursuing 150 academic credits or master's degree in accounting, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
- Final Graduation Date of Dec 2026 – Sept 2027
- Strong academic track record (Minimum GPA: 3.0)
- Strong MS Excel and MS Word
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with a team
- Great communication, leadership, and analytical skills
