We are seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Technology Value & Asset Manager to join our APAC IT team. Reporting directly to the Regional Information Officer – APAC, this is a unique standalone role responsible for managing technology assets, supporting IT financial governance, and driving visibility across software, hardware and technology spend throughout the region.
This role sits at the intersection of IT, Finance, Procurement and Vendor Management, requiring someone who can confidently manage multiple stakeholders across several countries while maintaining strong attention to detail and commercial discipline.
You will oversee the lifecycle management of technology assets, support budgeting and forecasting activities, manage software licensing and renewals, and contribute to reporting, analytics and continuous improvement initiatives. The role will also play a key part in helping the business improve technology governance, optimise spend and enhance visibility across IT operations.
Main duties:
Support and manage IT budgeting, forecasting and spend reporting across APAC.
Track and manage technology assets across hardware, software, cloud and managed services environments.
Maintain accurate records of IT assets throughout their lifecycle including acquisition, deployment, maintenance and disposal.
Coordinate software licensing, renewals and vendor relationships to ensure compliance and commercial efficiency.
Support contract management activities and assist with procurement and commercial governance processes.
Work closely with Finance and Procurement teams on reconciliations, reporting and cost allocation activities.
Develop dashboards, reporting and insights to support technology and commercial decision-making.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives including automation, reporting enhancements and AI-driven analytics.
Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across multiple regions and business functions.
Support audits, compliance activities and governance requirements across the IT function.
qualifications
Experience in IT asset management, technology procurement, IT finance, commercial governance or a similar role.
Strong understanding of technology assets, software licensing and vendor management processes.
Ability to understand commercial agreements, contracts and procurement lifecycles.
Experience managing budgets, tracking spend and supporting financial reporting activities.
Strong analytical and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
Advanced Excel capability and exposure to reporting or visualisation tools such as Power BI.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders and regions.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Commercial mindset with the ability to balance operational and financial outcomes.
Curiosity and interest in emerging technologies, automation and AI-driven reporting solutions.
Experience working closely with Finance, Procurement or Commercial teams will be highly regarded.
Degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance or a related discipline is desirable.
