We are seeking a Water Services Coordinator/Project Manager responsible for overseeing water servicing projects from planning through execution. In this role, you will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, review technical designs, and ensure projects comply with Sydney Water’s policies. You'll manage budgets and schedules while leveraging tools like AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and your strong design background and exceptional communication skills will be key to delivering high-quality results.
Key responsibilities:
Utilise Sydney Water’s Hydra, SWConnect and E-Developer systems to manage projects from application to completion
Collaborate with clients to design innovative solutions that meet their needs and community expectations
Analyse, interpret and assess data to achieve project objectives
Coordinate design efforts and manage proposal submissions to ensure projects are delivered within deadlines and budget requirements
Attend project and client meetings and participate in community consultations
Undertake fieldwork and conduct site inspections as required
qualifications
What do we need from you
A minimum of five years’ experience in a Water Servicing Coordinator role
Strong understanding of Sydney Water codes, processes, asset creation requirements, and Building Plan Approval (BPA) procedures.
Proven experience in FIFM, Minor Works, and Major Works deed processes, including contractor engagement and coordination.
A strong knowledge of Urban Development projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with constructors, clients, councils, utilities, and internal teams.
Competency in AutoCAD is desirable, though not essential.
Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices.
